Parkinson’s Care

There are three main symptoms of Parkinson’s that impact a person’s life – a tremor or shaking that can be uncontrollable as the condition worsens, slowness of movement, and rigidity or muscle stiffness, all of which present problems for daily living if not supported in the right way. Whilst these are the main symptoms of the disease, other symptoms include issues with sleep, memory, and problems with mental health given the nature of the disease.

We know how worrying it can be for families when faced with the reality that a loved one is living with the condition. We know that staying at home and receiving compassionate, one-to-one care from a highly trained and well-matched professional carer improves the quality of life for an individual living with Parkinson’s disease.
